The Oxford Nexus 1.0 Leather Motorcycle Jacket in Black / Red is a sports-focused leather jacket for riders who want high-level protection without moving to a one-piece suit. This colourway combines a predominantly black base with red detailing. Its protective specification is shared across the Nexus 1.0 leather jacket family.
Designed and engineered from the ground up, Nexus is the culmination of four years of Oxford research and development and more than 40 years of experience with Oxford-branded racing leathers. Oxford describes it as “born on the track, unleashed in the streets”, with a close riding fit, engineered stretch zones and perforated panels for sporty road riding.
Who is this jacket for?
This jacket is aimed at sports and performance-road riders looking for a Class AAA motorcycle garment with Level 2 shoulder and elbow protection. Its long and short connecting zips also allow it to be attached to compatible motorcycle trousers for a more secure jacket-to-trouser connection.

Care
Oxford advises: do not wash, bleach, tumble dry or iron. Remove the protectors before cleaning and use a specialist leather dry-cleaning service only.

Is the Oxford Nexus 1.0 jacket AAA rated?
Yes. Oxford certifies the complete jacket to EN 17092-2:2020, Class AAA.
Which protectors are included?
Level 2 shoulder and elbow protectors are included. The back protector is available separately.
Can this jacket connect to motorcycle trousers?
Yes. It has both long and short YKK connecting zips. Check that the trousers use a compatible zip before purchase.
Is it suitable for warm-weather riding?
It has perforated torso and upper-arm zones, airflow-supporting stretch panels and a breathable mesh lining. It remains a protective leather jacket, so comfort will still depend on temperature, speed and the layers worn underneath.
