Oxford Grinder S1 U-Lock Black - 14mm x 260mm x 155mm
The Oxford Grinder S1 U-Lock in Black is a compact high-security lock developed to resist angle-grinder attacks on motorcycles and bicycles. Its 14mm hardened square-steel shackle features a faceted carbide coating designed to deflect cutting discs and make forced entry considerably more difficult.
The high-security double-locking mechanism prevents shackle rotation, meaning both sides must be cut to release the lock. Oxford states that testing required an average of 10 cutting discs to pass through one side of the coated shackle. It is independently certified to Sold Secure Powered Cycle Diamond and Pedal Cycle Diamond standards.
The 260mm external length provides a compact option for everyday security. A protective silicone coating helps prevent vehicle damage, while the self-sealing keyway cover and weatherproof barrel shield keep out water and debris. A dedicated carry bracket, three keys and Oxford’s replacement-key service are also included.
