Domain Nouveau highlights
- Handcrafted fibreglass-reinforced plastic (FRP) shell designed to balance strength with low weight
- Round fit for riders whose head shape is more even from front to back and side to side
- Internal airflow geometry with forehead, chin and exhaust vents feeding channels in the EPS liner
- Fog-free Domain shield with positive lock and Rapid-Release system
- Removable three-piece Hydradry moisture-wicking comfort liner
- Sculpted neck roll, removable moulded breath deflector and removable chin curtain
- Prepared for the optional Icon HelmLink Bluetooth communication system
Protection, comfort and ventilation
The handcrafted FRP shell provides the protective structure, while the channelled EPS and continuous venting system move air through the helmet. A sculpted neck roll helps reduce interference with a riding jacket, and the washable three-piece Hydradry liner manages moisture during longer rides.
This helmet meets the ECE R22.06 motorcycle helmet standard for Europe. Icon also lists DOT FMVSS 218 and PSC compliance for the relevant markets; PSC certification stickers are supplied only through authorised Japanese dealers.
Shield system and supplied shields
The Domain shield is designed for a clear, low-distortion view and uses Icon's Rapid-Release mechanism for straightforward changes. This Blue colourway includes a Clear Domain shield and a Blue RST Domain shield. A Pinlock-ready Domain shield and compatible Pinlock insert are optional accessories and are not supplied.
Use a tinted or coloured shield only in suitable daylight and where its approval markings and local regulations permit. Fit the clear shield for twilight, darkness or poor visibility.
Size and fit guide
Icon specifies a round internal profile. Wrap a flexible tape around the widest part of your head, approximately 2.5 cm above the eyebrows and ears, then compare the measurement with the chart. Helmet fit must be confirmed by trying the helmet on: it should be snug around the crown, with firm cheek-pad contact and no independent movement once fastened.
