The HJC V60 is a heritage-inspired full face motorcycle helmet influenced by HJC's original FG-01 design from the 1980s. It combines an open, goggle-friendly eye port and removable three-snap peak with modern ECE 22.06 protection, a lightweight AFC Advanced Fibreglass Composite shell and a large integrated IS-10 sun shield. This version features the Flame MC5 black graphic.
Who is the HJC V60 for?
The V60 suits riders of scramblers, trackers, custom motorcycles, modern classics and retro off-road-inspired machines. It is designed for riders who prefer the character and airflow of a wide eye port, with the flexibility to use the integrated sun shield or suitable motorcycle goggles, while retaining a protective chin bar and modern road approval.
Protection, visibility and comfort
HJC's AFC shell uses CAD-developed shaping to balance low weight, durability and a comfortable fit. The V60 is ECE 22.06 approved and carries ACU Gold approval for UK ACU-governed motorcycle sport where the event regulations permit this helmet type. A double D-ring retention system provides a secure, adjustable fastening.
The large anti-scratch IS-10 internal sun shield has three height positions, allowing the rider to adjust its coverage. The open eye port is also shaped to accept suitable motorcycle goggles, and glasses grooves help accommodate spectacle arms. A removable three-snap peak completes the helmet's classic off-road appearance.
The moisture-wicking, quick-drying crown and cheek pads are removable and washable. Emergency release tabs allow the cheek pads to be removed more easily when rapid helmet removal is required, while built-in speaker pockets provide space for a compatible aftermarket communication system.

Measure around the widest part of your head, keeping the tape level just above the eyebrows and ears. Use the measurement as a starting point because head shape and personal fit can vary. A correctly fitted new helmet should feel evenly snug without creating localised pressure points.
