Product Details
HJC HJ-09 Dark Smoke Pinlock-Ready Outer Visor
This dark-smoke HJC HJ-09 replacement is the complete external face visor used across a broad range of legacy HJC full-face helmets. The deep tint reduces glare in bright conditions, while the visor's Pinlock pins accept the separately available DKS088 anti-fog insert.
Compatibility
- Fits: HJC HQ-1, AC-12, CL-15, CL-16, CL-SP, CL-ST II, CL-17, CL-17 Plus, CS-15, CS-R1, CS-R2, CS-R3, FS-10, FS-11, FS-15, FG-15, IS-16 and TR-1 helmets.
- Visor system: HJ-09. Check the visor code or helmet model label before ordering.
- Pinlock insert: Accepts the DKS088 insert when fitted to the two Pinlock pins. The insert is sold separately.
- Size: One outer visor fits the compatible helmet models. It is not selected by helmet shell size.
- Does not fit: Helmets using HJ-07, HJ-17, HJ-17R, HJ-20M or later visor systems, even where the helmet name appears similar.
Important Product Distinction
This product is the complete HJ-09 dark-smoke external face visor, not the inner DKS088 Pinlock insert and not the visor mechanism plates. The current title's previous reference to “HQ-10” was incorrect. The documented legacy helmet model is HJC HQ-1.
Road Use
This dark-smoke visor is not road legal in the UK. It is intended for track or competition use in bright conditions only and must not be used at night or in poor visibility.
