The Held Tamarack Base in Grey / Black is a waterproof Class AA textile motorcycle trouser for adventure and touring riders. Its flexible 2.5-layer stretch ripstop laminate, breathable Held-Tex weather protection and large thigh ventilation panels balance protection with comfort through spring, summer and autumn.
Who is it for?
This women-specific version is cut and sized to Held's DS to D3XL system. It suits road, touring and adventure riders who want waterproof textile trousers with high-level supplied armour, useful ventilation and a connecting zip for a matching Held jacket.

If your jacket and trouser sizes differ, Held advises that a connecting-zip adapter may be needed. We recommend trying the trousers while seated in a riding position so the knee armour can be checked and adjusted accurately.

Product questions
Are the Tamarack Base trousers waterproof?
Yes. Held lists the Tamarack Base as waterproof, with an integrated Held-Tex membrane that is also windproof and breathable. The thigh panels are designed to open for ventilation when conditions are dry and warm.
Are knee and hip protectors included?
Yes. Level 2 D3O Ghost protectors are supplied at both the knees and hips. The knee protectors are height-adjustable through Held's HPA system.
Can these trousers connect to a jacket?
Yes. They have a connecting zip and are the matching trousers for the Tamarack Top jacket. Held notes that an adapter can be required when jacket and trouser sizes differ.
What warranty applies?
Held provides a two-year manufacturer warranty from the date of purchase. Warranty claims are handled through the supplying Held dealer and remain subject to Held's care and use conditions.
