The Dainese Nexus 3 In & Out men's motorcycle boots combine a racing profile with a removable shin guard, allowing two distinct wearing configurations. Use IN mode beneath suitable trousers or a compatible Dainese suit for a lower-volume fit, or refit the shin guard and wear the boots over the leg in OUT mode.
Protection centres on Dainese's TPU Axial Distortion Control System, which helps resist unwanted ankle twisting while retaining the flexibility needed for precise road and track riding. A reinforced polyurethane heel structure, TPU gear-shifter guard and replaceable plastic toe slider add protection in key areas. The boots are certified as Category II motorcycle footwear to EN 13634.

IN and OUT configuration
For IN mode, remove the shin guard and position the boot beneath suitable riding trousers or a compatible Dainese leather suit. The Axial anti-twist structure remains in place. For OUT mode, reinstall the shin guard and wear the boot over the garment for additional shin coverage. Always check that the boot, suit or trousers and fastenings move freely together before riding.

Can these boots be worn under a leather suit?
Yes. Remove the shin guard for IN mode and use the Dainese Suit to Boot system with a suitable compatible suit. The slimmer arrangement is intended to reduce external bulk around the lower leg.
Can they be worn over trousers?
Yes. Refit the shin guard for OUT mode and wear the boots over suitable motorcycle trousers or a suit leg.
Are the toe sliders replaceable?
Yes. A replaceable plastic slider is fitted, and Dainese lists its Magnesium Boot Slider Kit 2024 as a compatible accessory.
