- Shell-size note: One shield spans the compatible helmets’ documented shell sizes; Bell does not divide this outer-shield family into helmet-size mounting groups.

- Pinlock clarification: This product is not the Pinlock anti-fog insert itself. Bell’s Star Series documentation assigns the separate DKS163 insert to Pinlock-ready Panovision shields and warns that the outer shield is not fog-resistant by itself.
