The Alpinestars Tech-Air 3 V2 Canvas Motorcycle Airbag System in Black combines autonomous upper-body airbag protection with a durable stretch nylon canvas outer vest. Developed for road riding, commuting, touring and light off-road use within the limits described in the user manual, it works without a tether or motorcycle-mounted sensors and is designed primarily to be worn over normal protective motorcycle clothing.

How should it fit?
Choose a close, secure fit without overstretching the elastic side panels. The vest is designed primarily for over-jacket use. Always leave the space specified by Alpinestars for correct inflation and use complete protective motorcycle clothing for areas not covered by the vest. Care and service
Read the supplied user manual before use. Alpinestars specifies hand washing the removable vest chassis at 30°C only after the airbag and electronic components have been removed exactly as instructed. Do not machine wash or immerse the airbag. Deployment servicing and inflator replacement must be carried out by an authorised Alpinestars Tech-Air dealer or service centre.
Questions and answers
Does it need a tether or bike-mounted sensors?
No. It is a self-contained system and operates independently of the motorcycle.
Does the phone app need to stay connected while riding?
No. The system works independently of the app, although the app is used to check status, battery level and software updates.
Is a passive back protector included?
No integrated passive back protector is specified. The vest has a pocket for selected compatible Alpinestars inserts, which are sold separately.
