Alpinestars T-GP R V3 Drystar Waterproof Motorcycle Jacket Black / Black

The Alpinestars T-GP R V3 Drystar® is a waterproof sport motorcycle jacket with a close, race-derived fit and the flexibility needed for everyday road riding. This Black / Black colourway combines a leather-jacket-inspired silhouette with reinforced textile construction, integrated impact protection and adaptable temperature control.

Waterproof sport performance

Alpinestars rates the Drystar® waterproof membrane to a 5,000 mm water column with breathability of 5,000 g/m². Zipped direct-opening vents at the sides and a concealed laser-perforated exhaust area across the back help manage airflow in warmer conditions.

For colder rides, the removable stretch thermal liner uses 60% recycled PrimaLoft® insulation, with 100 g across the torso and 80 g in the sleeves. Its wrist attachment wraps around the cuff with a 360-degree hook-and-loop system, while soft velour sits against the inner wrist.

Motorcycle protection

The jacket is certified to EN 17092-4:2020 Class A. A Dynamic Friction Shield external shoulder assembly works with included Nucleon Flex Plus shoulder armour, certified to EN 1621-1:2012 Level 1. Extended GP-R Lite Level 1 armour protects the elbows and forearms while retaining the pre-curved sport profile.

Internal compartments accept optional Nucleon chest protectors and standard or long-format Alpinestars back-protector inserts. These upgrades are sold separately, so check the protector-to-jacket size pairing before ordering.

Alpinestars size and fit guide

This model is offered here in S to 4XL. Measure around the fullest part of the chest, beneath the armpits, with the tape horizontal. The T-GP R V3 has a tailored sport fit, so riders between sizes or planning to wear thicker layers should try the jacket with their intended base layers and armour.

Is the thermal liner removable?
Yes. It can be taken out when less insulation is required.

Are chest and back protectors included?
No. The jacket provides compartments for compatible upgrades, which are available separately.

The waist zip is designed for compatible Alpinestars riding trousers. The T-SP R Drystar® trousers are the matching model listed by Alpinestars.
