Do not treat every RST suit as the same. Current official information identifies the Race Dept V4.2 D3O Airbag and Pro Series D3O Airbag suits as integrated-airbag products, while Tractech Evo and S1 listings in this collection include non-airbag versions. D3O also appears on named newer products, but protector levels and coverage depend on the exact suit.
How a one-piece suit should fit
Assess fit in a riding crouch, not standing upright. The suit should hold the protectors over the shoulders, elbows, hips and knees without severe restriction at the neck, chest or behind the knees. A race cut can feel short and tight when standing while settling correctly on the bike.
Check torso length, knee position and room for your intended back or chest protection. Boots and full-cuff gloves must overlap the suit cleanly. If you plan to attend a track day, confirm the organiser’s current rules for suit construction and fastening.

Does every RST one-piece suit include an airbag?
No. Only products explicitly identified as airbag suits should be treated as integrated-airbag models.
Should a new leather suit feel tight?
It should be close enough to control the armour, but not cause numbness, restrict breathing or prevent a normal riding position.
Can I use a separate back protector?
Check the suit specification, available space and compatibility. Adding a protector changes the fit and should be included when trying the suit.
