RST Motorcycle Jeans
7 products
Showing 1 - 7 of 7 products
RST motorcycle jeans provide a casual alternative to conventional riding trousers, with protective features hidden within familiar denim shapes. The current Moto Central range includes Tech Pro, Tapered-Fit, Straight Leg 2 and an earlier RST x Kevlar Single Layer design. These models do not share one construction or protection level, so compare the exact specification as well as the wash and cut.
Tech Pro, Tapered-Fit and Straight Leg 2
The current Tech Pro is the highest-specified model in this collection: RST lists it as an AAA garment with Cordura denim, aramid reinforcement in impact areas and Level 2 knee and hip armour. Tapered-Fit and Straight Leg 2 are listed as class A garments with Level 1 knee armour, hip protector pockets and aramid reinforcement in impact areas. Their main difference is shape, with one narrowing towards the ankle and the other retaining a straighter leg.
Choose fit before colour
Motorcycle jeans should feel comfortable when walking, but their protective fit must also work with knees bent and feet on the pegs. Check that the waistband does not pull down at the back, that the hem continues to overlap the boot and that each knee protector remains centred. RSTās adjustable knee-armour system can help fine-tune position, but it cannot correct the wrong waist or leg length.
- Tech Pro: choose it when the confirmed AAA garment class and supplied Level 2 knee and hip protection suit your priorities.
- Tapered-Fit: a closer lower leg with class A construction, supplied Level 1 knees and pockets for separate hip armour.
- Straight Leg 2: a roomier lower leg with the same class A and protector arrangement stated by RST.
- RST x Kevlar Single Layer: an earlier product in the automatic collection, so use its own listing and garment label for current details.

Weather and care
These are riding jeans rather than waterproof textile trousers. For persistent rain, add compatible waterproof over-trousers or choose a membrane-equipped riding trouser. Follow the label for washing, remove armour where instructed and avoid high heat or fabric products that the manufacturer does not approve. Refit each protector carefully before riding.
Moto Central lets you compare the available RST cuts, colours and leg lengths together, including duplicated colour listings within the same model family. You can also view RST textile trousers, RST leather trousers, RST boots, or the broader motorcycle jeans collection.
Customer questions
Do all RST jeans have hip armour?
No. Tech Pro includes Level 2 hip armour, while the current Tapered-Fit and Straight Leg 2 specifications list hip pockets only.
Are RST motorcycle jeans waterproof?
Do not assume so. The current jeans shown here are not presented as membrane waterproof trousers. Choose over-trousers or dedicated waterproof kit for prolonged rain.
How should the knee armour sit?
It should cover the kneecap in your normal riding position. Use the adjustable pockets where provided and recheck after washing.
