Simpson M62

Simpson M62 helmets pair a smooth, rounded full-face profile with modern road-helmet equipment. Moto Central's collection includes solid, Carbon and Hondo finishes, giving riders a focused choice of construction and styling within one helmet design.

Understanding the M62 range

Simpson describes the M62 as a modern interpretation of a mid-1980s racing silhouette. Current model information specifies tri-composite or 3K carbon shells, three shell sizes, a locking optically corrected shield, a removable and washable comfort liner, speaker cut-outs and a Pinlock Max Vision insert. Simpson lists the current M62 as ECE 22.06 and DOT certified.

How to choose an M62

• Prioritise fit: use a fresh head measurement and check for even pressure, stable crown contact and firm cheeks.
• Compare composite and carbon: decide whether the carbon construction and exposed finish matter enough for your budget.
• Confirm visor contents: the current model is specified with a clear shield and Pinlock insert, but the exact product listing is the final check.
• Plan your intercom: speaker cut-outs help installation, while the communication system remains a separate purchase.
• Choose a finish you will keep: the range moves from plain white or black to the more distinctive Hondo graphics.

Customer questions

What is the difference between M62 Carbon and standard M62 helmets?

The shell construction and finish differ. Carbon listings use 3K carbon fibre, while the standard versions use Simpson's composite construction.

Is the Pinlock insert included?

Simpson lists a Pinlock Max Vision insert with the current M62, but confirm the exact contents on the Moto Central product page before ordering.

Does the M62 include a communications unit?

No. It has speaker cut-outs to help accommodate a compatible system, which is bought separately.
