Icon Overlord Vented

Showing 1 - 2 of 2 products
The Icon Overlord Vented CE is a low motorcycle boot designed around airflow, quick adjustment and ankle coverage. This collection contains the black and grey versions of the same boot. Both use an engineered textile-mesh upper with TechTuff overlays, a BOA Fit System and internal D3O ankle inserts.
Compared with a tall leather touring boot, the Overlord Vented has less shaft coverage but a lighter, more trainer-like feel. A reinforced midfoot shank adds structure, the shifter overlay protects a frequent contact area, and a high-rebound EVA insole provides underfoot cushioning.

BOA fit and sizing
The BOA system uses a micro-adjustable dial, lightweight lace and low-friction guides to spread tension across the upper. Adjust it until the boot feels secure without creating pressure on the instep. The heel should remain seated when walking, the ankle inserts should cover the ankle bones and the toe should move freely enough to operate the gear lever.
- Use the size guide on the exact product page rather than converting from a casual shoe by guesswork.
- Try the boots with your normal riding socks and trousers.
- Check the dial, lace and guides before each ride for damage or contamination.
- Test gear-lever and rear-brake movement before a longer journey.
Protection and certification
Icon states that the Overlord Vented CE is tested to EN 13634:2017 with a 1 1 1 1 SRA marking. The boot combines D3O ankle inserts, a reinforced midfoot shank, shifter overlays and a slip-resistant rubber outsole. The low profile makes it convenient for everyday road use, but it does not provide the shin coverage of a tall boot.
Hot-weather use and wet conditions
The engineered mesh is intended to pass air in warmer weather. That also means the boot is not designed as a waterproof option, and Icon does not specify a waterproof membrane. For regular rain or colder touring, compare purpose-built waterproof motorcycle boots. For dry, warm commutes and rides, the Overlord Vented's ventilation is its defining benefit.
Care and inspection
Brush away dry dirt, wipe the upper with a damp cloth and follow the supplied care instructions. Let wet boots dry naturally away from radiators and direct heat. Regularly inspect the outsole, seams, BOA lace and guides, shifter overlay and ankle area. Replace the boots if a fall or wear has compromised their structure.
Why buy Icon Overlord Vented boots from Moto Central?
Moto Central lists both current colour choices together, making it simple to compare availability without confusing finish with specification. Product pages show current sizes and stock, while the wider motorcycle boots collection helps you compare the Overlord Vented with taller, waterproof or more heavily structured footwear. The broader Icon range contains coordinating riding kit.
