Shop the Gaerne SG-22 Enduro Gore-Tex boots in anthracite. This specialist one-product collection combines SG-22 ankle-support technology with a waterproof, breathable Gore-Tex Extended membrane and a treaded Gaerne Enduro sole.
It is the weather-protected Enduro member of the SG-22 family, not simply another colour of the standard SG-22 motocross boot. The membrane, sole compound and artisanal sole construction give it a different purpose from the ventilated MX model.

What makes SG-22 Enduro Gore-Tex different?
Gore-Tex Extended membrane
The waterproof and breathable membrane is designed to keep water outside while allowing internal moisture vapour to escape.
Gaerne Enduro sole
A dedicated rubber compound and tread pattern provide grip on the pegs together with more useful traction when walking or putting a foot down.
Dual Stage Pivot System 1.0
Two movement limiters restrict hyperextension, hyperflexion and lateral movement while refined geometry follows controlled ankle motion.
Ideal artisanal construction
Gaerne specifies its Ideal sole construction for this Gore-Tex Enduro model. The durable structure is designed to allow specialist resoling.
Waterproofing and breathability
The Gore-Tex Extended membrane is the central reason to choose this version. It is intended for riders who need meaningful weather protection without giving up moisture-vapour transfer during demanding Enduro use.
Waterproof motorcycle footwear still depends on condition and correct use. Water can enter over the top, and damage, contamination or wear can reduce performance. Keep riding trousers positioned appropriately and inspect the gaiter, seams and lining after use.

Enduro Gore-Tex versus standard SG-22
The standard SG-22 collection uses a ventilated motocross construction and multi-density MX sole. SG-22 Enduro Gore-Tex adds the waterproof membrane and the more deeply treaded Gaerne Enduro sole.
The sole construction also differs. Gaerne specifies Goodyear-welted construction for standard SG-22, while the current Gore-Tex Enduro specification uses its Ideal artisanal method. Both are designed with serviceability in mind, but exact repair suitability must be assessed by a specialist.
Fit, buckles and knee-protector clearance
Measure both feet and try the boots with the socks, riding trousers and knee protection you intend to use. The heel should stay seated, the toes should clear the front and the foot should not move sideways.
Aluminium Superlight buckles provide multiple adjustments, while the front shin guard has two positions to create fitting options around different calves and knee protectors. Start with the closures near the middle of their range and fasten them progressively.
Move between seated and standing riding positions and operate the gear lever and rear brake. Firm support is expected, but sharp pressure, numbness or crushed toes means the size or adjustment needs attention.
Toe box, Grip Guard and interior support
The 3D Main Body toe box reduces the height between sole and gear lever to support more direct shifting. Grip Guard 1.0 rubber elements on the inner side add contact with the motorcycle and heat protection.
The insole combines support with shock-absorbing material towards the rear. Air paths near the front plate and internal channels assist heat and moisture movement, working alongside the breathable membrane rather than replacing it.
Certification and care
Gaerne states that the current SG22 Gore-Tex Enduro is CE certified to EN 13634:2017 under EU Regulation 2016/425 and made in Italy. Certification does not replace correct fit, maintenance or the rest of the rider's protective equipment.
Remove mud before it hardens around the pivot system, buckles, tread and sole edge. Clean using products compatible with Gore-Tex footwear and allow the boots to dry naturally away from direct heat. Do not use products that can obstruct membrane breathability unless Gaerne or Gore-Tex confirms their suitability.
Inspect the shin guard, toe box, pivot components, Grip Guard, buckles, straps, membrane area and outsole before every ride. Any resoling or structural repair should be assessed for the exact Gore-Tex Enduro model.
