This Daytona Road Star GTX collection is specifically for riders needing the wider versions of the established waterproof touring boot. Moto Central currently lists Wide and Extra Wide in Black. It does not contain the standard, narrow or extra-narrow fits, so the two product titles are central to choosing correctly.

Road Star GTX construction
Daytona uses hydrophobic full-grain cowhide, a waterproof and breathable GORE-TEX climate membrane, twin entry zips and a large calf adjustment. The protective structure includes padded ankle elements on both sides, broad shin protection and a plastic-reinforced inner sole with a galvanised steel inlay. A reinforced gear-change area, heel reflector and non-slip sports outsole complete the road-touring layout.
The official Road Star family spans five width dimensions overall. This Moto Central collection deliberately covers only Wide and Extra Wide, allowing riders who need more space through the foot, ankle or calf to compare the two relevant versions.
Wide or Extra Wide?
Assess the whole foot
Width is not only about the toes. Check pressure across the forefoot, instep, ankle and heel before deciding that more volume is required.
Use riding socks
Try the boots with your normal sock thickness. An overly wide boot can allow heel lift and reduce support just as an overly narrow boot creates pressure.
Adjust the calf last
Close both zips first, then set the calf fastening. The upper should sit securely without pulling the zip lines out of shape.
Why buy wide Road Star GTX boots from Moto Central?
Moto Central places the Wide and Extra Wide listings together so their current size availability can be compared directly. The broader Daytona range remains linked for riders who determine that a standard or different boot shape is more suitable.
Customer questions
Does this collection include standard-width Road Star boots?
No. It currently contains Wide and Extra Wide listings only.
Are both versions waterproof?
Yes. Both are Road Star GTX variants using Daytona's waterproof and breathable GORE-TEX construction.
Should I automatically choose Extra Wide?
No. Choose the fit that holds the heel and ankle securely without squeezing the forefoot. More internal volume is not beneficial if the foot can move excessively.
