Caberg GP01 Carbon is a compact full-face racing helmet developed for track and road riding. The carbon-shell helmet is ECE 22.06 approved across its XS to L size range, with FIM Level 2 approval specifically applying to sizes M and L.
This collection currently contains the Carbon Black version. Its wind-tunnel-developed shape, prominent spoilers and eight ventilation openings are aimed at stability and airflow, while emergency and visibility equipment support focused sporting use.
Every GP01 size is ECE 22.06 approved. Caberg states that FIM Level 2 approval applies only to M and L, the sizes homologated for that additional motorcycle-racing standard.
The helmet uses a compact carbon shell and is quoted at approximately 1350g, with a 50g manufacturing tolerance. Available sizes run from XS to L.
The clear visor is supplied with a Pinlock Max Vision 120 anti-fog lens. Caberg also includes an extra dark visor and tear-off mounting pins; tear-off films are separate.
An aluminium double D-ring secures the helmet. Emergency-release cheek pads assist trained removal, while Caberg SOS Medical ID can store emergency information through its NFC system.
Measure around the widest part of the head and use Caberg's size chart as a starting point. A racing helmet should hold firmly and evenly, with close cheek contact and no concentrated pressure point. The double D-ring must be correctly threaded and tightened before every ride.
GP01 is also prepared for the Caberg Pro Speak Evo communicator. Caberg states that the helmet passed ECE 22.06 testing with that system installed. For competition use, check the organiser's current helmet and FIM approval requirements rather than relying only on the product category.
FIM Level 2 detail: choose size M or L if FIM Level 2 approval is required. XS and S remain ECE 22.06 road-approved but are not listed by Caberg with FIM Level 2 homologation.
