The Biltwell Gringo is the simplest helmet in the current Gringo family: an ECE 22.06 full-face shell with a wide, shieldless eye port. It keeps the classic Gringo outline while leaving the rider to choose compatible goggles or other suitable eye protection.
Unlike Gringo S and Gringo SV, the standard Gringo has no hinged face shield. Select eye protection that fits the opening without disturbing the helmet or restricting vision.
Biltwell specifies an injection-moulded ABS shell, dual-density EPS, a padded chin bar, D-ring retention and removable comfort liner and cheek pads.
The ECE 22.06 generation uses three outer-shell sizes. This improves proportional fit across the size run, but the labelled size must still be confirmed from the current chart.
Biltwell offers alternative ECE 22.06 cheek-pad thicknesses. They can refine cheek contact but cannot correct an unsuitable crown shape or wrong helmet size.
Select Gringo for the open eye port, Gringo S for an integrated shield, or Gringo SV for a shield plus adjustable ventilation.
Moto Central brings the current solid, metallic and graphic finishes together so riders can compare live sizing without mixing in Gringo S or SV helmets. Replacement comfort parts must be listed for the ECE 22.06 Gringo family.
No integrated hinged shield is shown on the standard Gringo. Suitable eye protection is required for the riding conditions.
Measure again and use the current ECE 22.06 chart. Biltwell warns that the newer generation can fit more snugly than earlier versions.
