This Bell Race Star collection currently contains one Race Star Tracer full-face helmet in matt black and grey. It is an earlier ECE 22.05 model, not the newer ECE 22.06 Race Star DLX Flex found in Moto Central’s separate collection.
The Race Star was developed as a performance road and track helmet, using a 3K carbon-fibre shell and Bell’s layered Flex energy-management liner. Its eye port is arranged for visibility when the rider adopts a more forward or tucked position, while the full-face shell provides continuous coverage around the chin and face.
This page is deliberately separate from the current Bell Race Star DLX Flex collection. Visors, liners, cheek pads and other parts can differ by model generation, so order accessories against the exact helmet name rather than the broader Race Star family.
The aerodynamic shape and wide shield suit sports-bike riding, but comfort still depends on posture, windscreen height and fit. For track use, check the organiser’s current approval, visor and technical-control rules before booking.
The product title identifies this helmet as ECE 22.05. Do not confuse it with the ECE 22.06 DLX Flex range or assume that approvals shown for a newer Race Star apply to this model.
Measure around the widest part of the head, keeping the tape level above the eyebrows and ears. The helmet should feel evenly firm and remain stable when the chin bar is moved by hand. Check for concentrated pressure around the forehead or temples, then assess it in a natural riding position.
Before ordering a replacement shield, compare the visor mechanism and model information with the accessory listing. Tint, optical approval and road legality are separate from physical compatibility, so choose a shield suitable for the light conditions and intended use.
Age and condition matter: this is remaining stock from an earlier helmet generation. On delivery, confirm the approval label and inspect the shell, EPS, strap, shield mechanism and production information before use.
Moto Central identifies this helmet by its exact Tracer graphic and ECE 22.05 standard rather than blending it into the newer range. Our UK team can help with sizing and model identification if you need to compare it with the Race Star DLX Flex.
No. It is the earlier Race Star Tracer ECE 22.05. The current DLX Flex helmets have their own collection and specification.
Do not assume so. Confirm the helmet generation and the visor’s stated compatibility before ordering.
