Lonborg Base uses a removable waterproof, windproof and breathable Held-Tex membrane. Its detachable thermal lining gives another configuration for changing temperatures.
Direct summer mesh
Tropic 4 Base has no membrane. Mesh at the upper legs, shins and calves prioritises airflow, so separate rain protection is needed when the weather changes.
Waterproof over-trousers
Rain over-trousers are worn above protective riding clothing. Allow enough room for the layers underneath and check that the waistband, legs and closures stay secure in the riding position.
Adventure, touring and summer riding
Adventure trousers often combine adjustment, ventilation, storage and connection features for longer journeys.
