Clearance does not change helmet fit
Measure around the widest part of your head and use the manufacturer-specific chart as a starting point. A helmet should feel evenly snug around the crown without a concentrated pressure point. With the strap fastened, it should resist rotating or rolling independently of your head.

Check the exact helmet generation
Helmet families can keep similar names while changing shell, approval, visor and interior systems. Match replacement visors, Pinlock inserts, liners, cheek pads, peaks and mechanisms to the complete model code and generation. A part made for a newer model is not automatically suitable for its predecessor.
Review what is included as well. Pinlock preparation does not always mean an insert is supplied, and intercom preparation is different from an installed communication system. The Sena Impulse in this collection includes an integrated Mesh intercom, while most clearance helmets do not.
Approval and intended use
