Check tyre and damage compatibility first
Cargol is an emergency repair system, not a universal answer to every flat tyre. Confirm that the exact product is suitable for the tyre construction and puncture described in its instructions. A cut, large hole, sidewall damage, damaged valve seat, bent wheel or any uncertain condition calls for recovery and professional assessment rather than an attempted roadside plug.
Before a trip, inspect the kit, practise identifying each component from the instructions and make sure the valve adaptor can be used with your wheel layout. Store cartridges and repair parts as directed, and replace anything used, damaged or outside the manufacturer’s stated service condition.
Inflation and onward riding
CO2 cartridges become extremely cold as they discharge. Use the protective sleeve, keep bare skin away from the cartridge and follow the fitting sequence supplied with the kit. Cartridge quantity does not guarantee that a particular motorcycle tyre will reach its correct pressure, so carry a reliable gauge and a suitable backup inflation plan.

Can I use the top-up kit on its own?
It supplies replacement repair inserts and hand tools, but not the valve adaptor and CO2 inflation equipment found in the complete kits. Compare it with the equipment you already own.
Can a repaired tyre be ridden normally?
