Drift action cameras are built around a slim side-mounted format that suits motorcycle recording, while the wider range covers the mounts, storage and replacement parts needed to keep a camera working. This collection includes the Full HD Ghost XL, the 4K Ghost XL Pro, a white Ghost XL Snow Edition and accessories for several Drift generations.
The right choice starts with the kind of footage you want and how long you expect to record. The Ghost XL prioritises extended Full HD recording, with a claimed battery life of up to nine hours, IPX7 water resistance, a rotatable lens and loop-recording Dash Cam Mode. The Ghost XL Pro adds 4K recording at up to 30 frames per second and electronic image stabilisation; Drift states up to seven hours at 1080p or about four and a half hours at 4K. Actual runtime varies with settings and use.

Choosing a Drift camera
Ghost XL for longer Full HD rides
Choose the Ghost XL when recording time and simple loop recording matter more than 4K resolution. Its rotating lens helps level the horizon after the body has been mounted on the side of a helmet or another suitable surface. The Snow Edition is a colour variation of the Ghost XL rather than a separate performance tier.
Ghost XL Pro for 4K detail
The Ghost XL Pro is the step up for 4K footage, electronic stabilisation and external-microphone support. Higher resolution uses storage and battery more quickly, so select the recording mode around the length of the journey rather than leaving every setting at its maximum.
Mounts for the intended viewpoint
The collection includes handlebar, vented-helmet, shoulder, curved-adhesive and flat-adhesive options. Choose a surface that lets the mount sit fully supported, leaves controls and vents clear, and does not obstruct your view. Never drill or modify a helmet shell to fit a camera.
Parts for a specific Drift generation
Items labelled 4K, Ghost X, Ghost XL or HD Ghost are not automatically interchangeable. Check the exact camera name against the listing before choosing a lens kit, battery, remote, microphone lead, case or adaptor. A matching mount does not guarantee that an electronic accessory will also be compatible.
Before the first ride: fit the camera and level its rotating lens while the motorcycle is stationary, confirm the mount cannot foul a visor or control, format a supported microSD card in the camera, and record a short test clip. Recheck adhesive or clamped mounts regularly and follow both the helmet maker's and Drift's fitting instructions.
Storage, sound and wet-weather use
Loop recording can make a Drift camera useful for routine journeys because older unlocked files are overwritten as the card fills. For trips you want to keep, copy the footage before the card cycles over it. This collection includes 32GB and 64GB microSD cards, but card capacity and specification should always be matched to the camera manual and chosen resolution.
External microphones and remote controls can make recording easier, but they are model-specific. Check which cable or adaptor is required and where it connects. Opening a rear hatch or running a cable may affect the camera's weather sealing, so do not assume an IP rating still applies in every powered or externally connected setup. Close covers fully and follow the manual before riding in rain.

Drift customer questions
Does every Drift accessory fit Ghost XL?
No. The collection includes parts for Ghost XL, Ghost XL Pro and older 4K, Ghost X and HD Ghost cameras. Match the product title and compatibility information to your exact camera.
Which camera suits all-day recording?
Ghost XL has the longer quoted maximum runtime at up to nine hours. Ghost XL Pro is the better fit when 4K detail is the priority, with Drift quoting up to seven hours at 1080p and around four and a half hours at 4K.
Can I attach a Drift camera to any helmet?
No. Suitability depends on the helmet, mounting surface and manufacturer guidance. Use only an appropriate non-invasive mount, keep the camera clear of the visor and vents, and do not drill the shell.
Is a separate waterproof case required?
The current Ghost XL and Ghost XL Pro are listed by Drift with IPX7 water resistance when correctly closed. The waterproof case in this collection is labelled for Drift 4K and Ghost X, so it should not be assumed to fit newer models.
Browse the current Drift range above and use the product details to confirm the camera generation, mount type and included parts. For a complete recording setup, allow for a compatible microSD card, the right mount for the chosen viewpoint and enough charging time before departure.
