Moto Central’s Belstaff collection spans protective motorcycle clothing and footwear, armour, gloves and selected casual pieces. It brings together the brand’s best-known materials, from waxed cotton and leather to technical waterproof textiles, in one catalogue.
Belstaff was founded in 1924 and built its reputation around durable outerwear and motoring. Today’s range mixes heritage styling with modern motorcycle garment certification, but specifications vary substantially between products and seasons.

Explore the Belstaff motorcycle range
Waxed motorcycle jackets
Trialmaster, Crosby, Convoy, Brooklands and related styles use waxed materials and heritage detailing. Check certification, included armour, waterproof construction and care instructions on the exact jacket.
Leather motorcycle clothing
Belstaff leather jackets range from shorter café-racer cuts to longer Trialmaster shapes. Leather finish, ventilation, lining and protection level differ, so compare more than appearance.
Technical textiles
Nylon, laminated waterproof and Gore-Tex products serve commuting and touring needs. Look for membrane construction, venting, thermal layers and pocket arrangement that match your intended conditions.
Boots, gloves and armour
Complete the outfit with model-specific impact protectors, leather motorcycle boots and gloves. Each has its own sizing and certification, and brand matching does not replace a proper fit check.
How to choose Belstaff motorcycle clothing
Begin with the riding purpose. A shorter leather or waxed jacket can suit urban and heritage motorcycles, while extended wet-weather or touring use may favour greater coverage, ventilation management and a waterproof membrane. Then check the product’s certification, armour positions and whether optional back protection is required.
Fit should be assessed in a riding position. Shoulder, elbow, hip and knee armour must remain over the intended area, sleeves and trouser legs need enough length on the bike, and layers should not make the garment restrictive.
Protective or casual? This broad brand collection also contains lifestyle clothing and care products. Read the individual title and specification. A Belstaff logo or motorcycle-inspired appearance does not by itself mean that an item is certified protective equipment.
Caring for waxed cotton and leather
Waxed cotton should not be treated like an ordinary machine-washable textile. Belstaff advises regular rewaxing of its signature 6 oz waxed cotton with the appropriate reproofing dressing to maintain water repellency. Leather and technical membranes have different care requirements, so always follow the garment label.
Why choose Moto Central for Belstaff?
Moto Central separates the broad Belstaff catalogue into useful boot, glove, jacket, trouser, armour and casual collections, helping riders compare products by purpose. At our Wolvey showroom, you can also assess garment and armour fit in a riding position and get help distinguishing protective and lifestyle pieces.
Common questions
Does every Belstaff jacket include armour?
No. Included protection and optional pockets vary. Check the exact product description and certification before ordering.
Is waxed cotton fully waterproof?
Do not assume so. Water repellency, membranes and seam construction vary by model, and waxed garments need appropriate maintenance.
Can I compare sizes across all models?
Use each product’s chart. Cut, material and intended layers can make two Belstaff garments feel different in the same labelled size.
Which armour fits my jacket?
Check the garment pocket, protector shape, size and approval marking. Belstaff has used different armour across models and seasons.
