PLASMA technology, a size-specific EPS liner and the A-Head Fitment System bring together impact management and a personalised fit.

Shell construction and protection

The pre-preg shell combines carbon, aramid fibre and fibreglass with epoxy resin for strength and energy dissipation. Its seven-piece EPS liner uses six densities matched to the helmet size, while a patented low-friction EPS coating helps reduce rotational acceleration in oblique impacts. PLASMA inserts sit within the collarbone recesses to absorb shocks. The S-R7 is ECE 22.06 homologated and secured with a D-ring chin strap.

Vision and rider comfort

The eye port provides 220° peripheral and 57° vertical vision. The Optical Class 1 visor has double-sided anti-scratch treatment, a polymer locking lever with a frontal metal hook, and a tool-less quick-release mechanism. Its side mechanisms draw it against the rubber window seal, and the pins accommodate a Pinlock® 120XLT 100% Max Vision lens. The A-Head Fitment System adjusts helmet height, depth and fore-aft angle. Removable, washable linings have anti-microbial treatments, while the 3D cheek pads include eyewear channels, an integrated hydration tube channel and an Emergency Release System.

Aerodynamics and ventilation

A wind-tunnel-developed road spoiler and integrated lateral winglets help reduce drag and support stability at speed. Six intakes and four exhausts manage airflow: adjustable chin openings direct air towards the visor, a central chin intake uses a removable rubber bung, and the sliding top vent reveals three air channels. Chin-bar and rear spoiler outlets extract warm, humid air. The helmet is also designed to integrate with the Alpinestars A-Connect communications system.

Key features

Carbon, aramid fibre and fibreglass pre-preg composite shell

ECE 22.06 homologated

PLASMA inserts in the collarbone recesses

Seven-piece, six-density, size-specific EPS liner

Patented low-friction EPS coating for rotational impact management

220° peripheral and 57° vertical field of vision

Optical Class 1 visor, 1.6 mm thick at the sides and 2.6 mm at the centre

Double-sided anti-scratch visor treatment and tool-less release

Pinlock® 120XLT 100% Max Vision compatible

Micro-adjustable A-Head Fitment System

Emergency Release System in the 3D cheek pads

D-ring fastening

Integrated road spoiler and lateral winglets

Six intake ports and four exhaust ports

Removable, washable, anti-microbial comfort lining

Eyewear and hydration tube channels

Designed for A-Connect communications system integration

Size M weight: 1,390 g / 3.06 lb

Size Guide

XS

S

M

L

XL

XXL

53-54cm

55-56cm

57-58cm

59-60cm

61-62cm

63-64cm
