Kawasaki is launching the year with a couple of new upgrades to its Kawasaki Z H2. The H2 platform has already proven to be highly powerful and now with the Showa Skyhook Electronically Equipped Ride Adjustment (EERA), riders can enjoy enhanced comfort and stability.

This 2021 model is dubbed the Kawasaki Z H2 SE. Its Skyhook suspension works by supporting the sprung weight so the chassis maintains good balance while riding over uneven surfaces. The suspension helps maintain the motorcycle’s vertical position, absorbing any up and down movement as the bike travels over rough ground resulting in a stable and smoother ride.

This effort is further supported by a five axis Bosch Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU) and other sensors that track acceleration, deceleration, roll rate, pitch rate, and lean angles. Coupled with Kawasaki's ABS that also monitors wheel speed and the ECU that regulates brake fluid pressure, these upgrades help to generate new streams of data that when combined with the selected riding mode allow the suspension to be automatically adjusted via solenoid valves. Damping quality is matched to the riding mode. The Kawasaki Z H2 SE offers four options – Road, Manual, Sport, and Rain. Whatever weather conditions we supply the motorcycle gear you need. All the data collected goes towards calculating the optimal front brake hydraulic pressure that is modulated in small increments. This ensures minimal rear wheel lift in the event of heavy braking and reduced kickback.

New Brembo Stylema callipers have taken the place of standard Brembo M4.32 callipers on both the front and rear discs. This change ensures even better braking power. Cornering is made easier with a smoother transition between acceleration, braking and acceleration thanks to pitching, corner braking, traction, and wheel lift management. Expect to achieve even greater speeds on this supercharged Kawasaki Z H2 owing to the upgrades in suspension and braking.
