The Sena 50R-02 is a low-profile Mesh and Bluetooth motorcycle helmet intercom supplied as a single pack for one rider. It combines Sena Mesh Intercom 3.0 with four-way Bluetooth intercom, premium SOUND BY Harman Kardon speakers and microphone, hands-free voice control, an FM radio and smartphone connectivity for calls, music and GPS directions.

Its slim three-button control unit suits riders who prefer a close-fitting headset rather than a jog-dial design. Multiple mounting methods and both boom and wired microphones make it adaptable to many full-face, modular and open-face helmets.

Mesh and Bluetooth rider communication

Low-profile helmet installation

The 50R main unit can be fitted on the left side of a suitable helmet with the supplied clamp, hook-and-loop fasteners or double-sided adhesive mounting pads. Use the wired boom microphone for many modular and open-face helmets, or the wired microphone for full-face helmets. Speaker pads and fasteners are included to help position the speakers close to the ears without compromising helmet fit.

Check the helmet manufacturer's guidance before installation. Test speaker and microphone placement with the helmet on before committing to an adhesive mount, and make sure cables do not interfere with the comfort lining, retention system or moving chin bar.

Is this a single or dual pack?
This is manufacturer part number 50R-02, the single pack for one helmet. A second compatible headset is required for intercom communication.

Does Mesh Intercom require a phone signal?
No. Direct Open Mesh and Group Mesh communication use the headset's Mesh radio. A paired phone is used for calls, music, navigation audio and app features. Wave Intercom is a separate app-based feature that uses cellular coverage.

Can it connect to older Sena Mesh headsets?
