Why ANC technology?

Aeroacoustic performance plays a key role in defining comfort, rider experience, and passive safety. With a focus on delivering industry leading performance in all these areas, the Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) technology can deliver real world benefits to riders and their experience on the open road. In achieving this the ANC project was a collaboration between two industry leaders. SCHUBERTH with our experience in helmet manufacturing, and Cardo as a leader in ommunications technology. As the leader in touring helmets, the C5 ANC was developed using the full breadth of SCHUBERTH’s technical R&D facilities, working closely with our partner Cardo Systems to create a helmet that sets a new standard for the industry.

Powered by the 2nd generation Dynamic Mesh intercom system, SC EDGE sets a new standard of connectivity. This technology, combined with the Bluetooth 5.2 who allows the pairing with any other Bluetooth intercom headset, offering a unique riders’ network experience.
