Oxford Grinder S1 U-Lock Black - 14mm x 320mm x 155mm

The Oxford Grinder S1 U-Lock in Black is a long-format high-security lock designed to resist angle-grinder attacks on motorcycles and bicycles. Its 14mm hardened square-steel shackle uses a faceted carbide coating that deflects cutting discs and helps considerably delay forced entry.

A double-locking mechanism prevents the shackle from rotating, so both sides must be cut before the lock can be released. Oxford states that testing required an average of 10 cutting discs to pass through one side of the coated shackle. The lock is independently certified to Sold Secure Powered Cycle Diamond and Pedal Cycle Diamond standards.

Its 320mm external length provides additional reach when securing a motorcycle or bicycle to a fixed object. The silicone-coated body helps prevent damage, while the self-sealing keyway cover and weatherproof barrel shield protect the mechanism from water and debris.
