LS2 MX701 Explorer / Explorer Carbon DKS407 Pinlock 70 Max Vision Insert

This clear Pinlock 70 Max Vision anti-fog insert is made for compatible LS2 MX701 Explorer outer visors with LS2-specific Pinlock mounting pins. It uses a moisture-absorbing surface and silicone seal to create an insulating air chamber that helps reduce condensation.

LS2 currently lists this reference for the ECE 22.06 Explorer and Explorer Carbon. Their current shell groups are XS-S, M-L and XL-3XL for Explorer, and XS-S, M-L and XL-2XL-3XL for Explorer Carbon. This insert is not shell-size specific. Fitment is determined by the DKS407 visor system and the position of the Pinlock pins.

For an earlier ECE 22.05 MX701, check that its outer visor is Pinlock-ready and specifies DKS407 before ordering. Do not select this part from helmet size alone.

Important Part Distinction

This product is the flexible clear anti-fog insert fitted inside the main outer visor. It is not the rigid outer visor, the drop-down internal sun visor, a tear-off film or the adventure peak. A compatible Pinlock-ready outer visor is required and is sold separately.

Care and Fitting

Remove the protective film before use. Fit the insert between the visor pins with the silicone seal against the inside of the clean outer visor. Follow Pinlock's fitting and tension-adjustment instructions. Clean gently with lukewarm water and allow it to air dry. Do not use abrasive cleaners.
