LS2 FF808 Stream II Outer-Visor Ratchet Kit and Screws

This genuine LS2 replacement kit contains the ratchet mechanism and fixing screws for the external face shield on the LS2 FF808 Stream II full-face helmet. Manufacturer reference: 806808RSS01.

The mechanism supports the outer visor and its opening, closing and quick-release functions. It is not a replacement for the helmet's chin-strap buckle.

Compatibility

• Confirmed fit: LS2 FF808 Stream II.
• Helmet shell groups: 2XS-S, M-L and XL-3XL. This part is supplied by exact reference rather than as a helmet-size option.
• Not confirmed for: the earlier LS2 FF320 Stream or the FF818 Storm III. Similar helmet names do not establish mechanism compatibility.

Component Clarification

• This is the outer-visor ratchet or base-plate mechanism with screws.
• It is not an outer visor blade. FF808 Stream II outer visors use the 806808VIS series.
• It is not the drop-down internal sun-visor mechanism or its tinted blade.
• It is not a Pinlock insert. LS2 lists the separate Pinlock 70 insert under reference 800400034.
• It is not the chin-strap micrometric ratchet buckle.

Fitting

Helmet visor mechanisms are safety-relevant parts. Fit both sides correctly, use the supplied fixings in their intended positions and check that the visor opens, locks and releases evenly before riding. If the helmet shell, mounting points or mechanism are damaged, seek professional inspection.
