Compatible upgrades

The Tavino Top accepts an optional EN 1621-2:2014 back protector and a compatible chest protector. It is also prepared for Held SnapTech hood and collar accessories, Held eVest and eVest PRO electronic airbag systems, and connection to compatible motorcycle trousers. Held lists the Tavino Base adventure trousers as the matching lower garment. All upgrades are sold separately.

Is the Tavino Top waterproof?

Yes. Held specifies an integrated HELD-TEX® climate membrane that is waterproof, windproof and breathable. The jacket also has two waterproof outer pockets.

Does it include a back protector?

No. Level 1 D3O® shoulder and elbow protectors are included, but the back and chest protectors are optional.

Is the Held eVest a heated liner?

No. Held eVest and eVest PRO are electronic motorcycle airbag systems. The Tavino Top is prepared for these optional systems, but neither is supplied with the jacket.

Which seasons is it intended for?

Held classifies the Tavino Top for summer and spring-to-autumn riding. The air vents and removable thermal waistcoat allow useful adjustment as conditions change.

Does the reflective print make this a high-visibility jacket?

No. The jacket has reflective print to improve conspicuity in suitable lighting, but it is not a certified high-visibility garment.
