The Held eVest Clip-in Electronic Motorcycle Airbag Vest with In&box in Black 01 is an autonomous In&motion airbag system made to integrate into compatible Held motorcycle clothing. Article 92070 uses Held Clip-in Technology to position the vest inside a prepared jacket or suit, keeping the airbag hidden while protecting the chest, back, cervical spine and abdomen.

This is the ESSENTIAL-airbag version of Held's electronic range. The In&box control module is supplied for activation, but it is not part of the vest purchase contract. An In&motion account and a paid purchase or rental plan are required after the initial 48-hour activation period.

The eVest Clip-in is for riders who use compatible Held clothing with Clip-in preparation and want a fully autonomous airbag without a lanyard, motorcycle-mounted sensor or cable. It suits road, touring, adventure and occasional track riding when the correct In&motion detection mode and compatible outer garment are used.

In&box and Activation

The supplied removable In&box contains the sensors, battery and control electronics. It offers a choice of detection mode, with additional modes available through In&motion, up to 30 hours of battery life, USB-C charging, automatic standby and software updates.

1. Create an In&motion account and complete the initial activation.
2. Select the appropriate In&box purchase or rental plan and riding mode. Charges and terms vary by country and may change.
3. Install the activated In&box correctly in the vest's rear shell.
4. Complete the pre-ride checks required by the Held and In&motion instructions before every use.

The airbag is active for an initial 48-hour period after first activation. Continued operation then requires registration and a current In&motion plan. The passive back protector remains fitted, but the airbag will not operate without an activated In&box.

Fit and Size Guidance

Held currently publishes the eVest Clip-in in sizes S to 3XL. Moto Central's physically stocked sizes on this listing are XL and XXL. The following Held garment measurements are useful starting points for those stocked sizes:

The waist is measured 20 cm below the armhole. These are unstretched garment measurements, not body measurements. The vest must sit correctly inside the prepared outer garment and have the deployment room specified by Held. A fit check with the intended jacket or suit is strongly recommended.

Compatible Clothing

This version is designed for Held products with Clip-in preparation. In compatible leather combinations it can be installed behind the inner lining. Do not assume that any jacket or suit is suitable simply because the vest fits underneath it; confirm the exact garment's Clip-in compatibility and follow Held's installation instructions.

Is the In&box included?
The module is supplied with the vest for activation, but Held states that it is not part of the purchase contract. After the initial 48-hour activation period you must register it and choose an In&motion purchase or rental plan.

Can it be used in any motorcycle jacket?
No. The eVest Clip-in is intended for compatible Held clothing with Clip-in preparation. Confirm the exact jacket or suit before use.

What happens after the airbag deploys?
Held states that the system can normally be returned to service in around five minutes by replacing the inflator. Follow the full post-deployment inspection and reset instructions before reuse.

When is manufacturer maintenance required?
Held requires eVest and eVest Clip-in systems to be sent to its service centre after no more than three deployments for maintenance and functional testing.

Warranty and Service

Held provides its standard two-year warranty and lists its airbag vests as eligible for an optional five-year warranty extension through registration, subject to current terms. In&box purchase, rental and warranty arrangements are governed separately by the chosen In&motion plan.
