The Biltwell Helmet Gen 2 Hardware Kit includes two screws and two washers, providing all the necessary components for a quick and easy upgrade. The blue anodised finish adds a distinctive and stylish touch, allowing you to fine-tune the look of your helmet. For proper installation, apply one drop of medium-strength blue Loc-Tite to the threads of each screw during installation. Align the index bumps on the back side of the washers with their corresponding slots on the plastic hinge spacer behind the shield, and hold the washer carefully in position while tightening the screw. A coin or short straight-slot screwdriver works perfectly for this task. It is crucial to avoid overtightening the screws. These small details can make a significant difference, allowing you to create a unique and personalised look for your Biltwell helmet, adding a pop of colour to your ride.

Compatibility

Fits: Biltwell Gringo S, Gringo SV and Lane Splitter helmets using the matching indexed shield-pivot hardware.

Each unsized kit contains two stainless-steel shield screws and two indexed decorative washers. One kit serves the complete helmet and is selected by pivot-hardware design, not helmet size, outer-shell group or liner thickness.

System note: This screw-and-washer kit is separate from the plastic hinge spacers, shield baseplates and complete outer shield. It is also distinct from Biltwell's four-piece Gen 2 baseplate conversion kit used when adapting an earlier compatible helmet to a Gen 2 shield.

Does not fit: Biltwell Tahoe. This hardware is not an outer visor, internal sun visor, helmet peak or Pinlock anti-fog insert.

During installation, align the locating bumps on each washer with the matching slots in the hinge spacer. Use medium-strength blue thread-locking compound if it is not already present, and do not overtighten the screws.
