Bell MX-10 MIPS Solid ECE 22.06 Black
The Bell MX-10 MIPS Solid Black is an ECE 22.06 motocross helmet developed for riders who want modern protection, straightforward comfort and strong value. Replacing the MX-9 MIPS in Bell's range, it combines a polycarbonate/ABS shell, Mips® slip-plane technology, a flexible Flying Bridge™ visor and quick-drying Ionic+™ padding in a clean black colourway.
Who It's For
This helmet is aimed at adult motocross and off-road riders, including newcomers, weekend riders and casual enthusiasts. Its open eye port is designed to be used with motocross goggles, while the integrated speaker pockets also suit riders who want to add a compatible communication system.
Key Benefits
- ECE 22.06 certified: meets the current European motorcycle helmet standard.
- Mips® technology: a slip-plane system designed to help reduce rotational forces from certain impacts.
- Flying Bridge™ visor: Bell's flexible visor design improves airflow and removes the traditional centre post and screw from a high-impact area.
- No Missed Races bumpers: soft EPP side bumpers compress under load and rebound, helping to manage contact between the helmet and the rider's body.
- Ionic+™ comfort padding: quick-drying antimicrobial padding helps manage sweat and odour.
- Communication ready: integrated speaker pockets make it easier to fit a compatible Bluetooth system.
- Practical motocross design: includes a removable mouthpiece component and an open eye port for goggles.

Product Questions
Is the Bell MX-10 MIPS approved to ECE 22.06?
Yes. This UK model is ECE 22.06 certified.
Does the helmet include goggles?
No. Bell does not list goggles as part of the supplied package, so choose a suitable motocross goggle separately.
Can I fit an intercom?
Yes. Bell describes the MX-10 MIPS as communication-system ready and provides integrated speaker pockets. Check the dimensions and mounting method of your chosen system.
Is the mouthpiece removable?
Yes. Bell specifies a removable mouthpiece component. This does not make the helmet a flip-front or removable-chin-bar design.
Is this an adult helmet?
Yes. This listing uses Bell's adult XS to XXL size chart. Youth MX-10 MIPS helmets use a different size range and fit guide.

Moto Central Fitting Guidance
A new motocross helmet should feel evenly snug around the whole head without creating sharp pressure points. Wear it for several minutes and check that it does not rotate independently when you move it by the chin bar. If you are unsure between sizes, visit the Moto Central showroom for fitting guidance and bring the goggles you plan to use so the helmet and goggle interface can be checked together.
