The Bell Eliminator Carbon Solid ProTint ECE 22.06 in Matt Black is a lightweight, automotive-inspired full-face motorcycle helmet built around Bell’s 6K carbon-fibre shell. It combines a distinctive street profile with ProVision anti-fog optics, Ionic+ comfort padding, glasses-arm channels and current ECE 22.06 approval.

Who It's For

Designed for road riders who want the Eliminator’s retro performance styling with the lower reference weight and exposed character of a carbon shell. Its eyewear-friendly liner and quick-drying padding also suit regular commuting and longer weekend rides.

Key Benefits

  • 6K carbon-fibre shell: Bell’s carbon construction gives the Eliminator a race-influenced look and a quoted size-M weight of 1,144 g ± 50 g.
  • ProVision anti-fog shield system: dual-pane anti-fog optics are designed for clear vision across everyday and demanding riding conditions.
  • Ionic+ comfort padding: quick-drying interior padding uses silver-based odour control.
  • Eyewear compatible: dedicated pockets in the liner accommodate prescription glasses or sunglasses.
  • ECE 22.06 approved: certified to the current European motorcycle helmet standard.

What Is Supplied

  • Bell Eliminator Carbon Solid ProTint ECE 22.06 helmet in Matt Black, in your selected size
  • Dark Smoke face shield
  • Deluxe helmet bag

Important visor clarification: although ProTint forms part of Bell’s product name, Bell’s current UK specification states that a Dark Smoke face shield is included. It does not describe the supplied shield as photochromic, so this page does not claim automatic light adaptation.

Compatibility and Optional Accessories

The liner incorporates eyewear-arm pockets. Genuine Bell Eliminator replacement shields and vent rain covers are model-specific optional items sold separately. A Dark Smoke shield may be unsuitable or unlawful for some road and light conditions, so check the visor marking and applicable rules before riding.

Product Questions

Is the supplied shield photochromic?

Bell’s current UK product page names a Dark Smoke face shield in the box and does not state that it automatically changes tint. ProTint is retained here as part of the official model name.

Is this helmet ECE 22.06 approved?

Yes. This European model is certified to ECE 22.06.

How much does it weigh?

Bell quotes 1,144 g ± 50 g for size M. Actual weight varies with size.

Can I wear glasses with it?

Yes. Bell includes eyewear-arm pockets in the liner, although frame shape and helmet fit should still be checked together.

What does the warranty cover?

Bell’s five-year warranty covers qualifying defects in materials and workmanship for the original purchaser with proof of purchase. It does not cover accident, misuse or neglect damage.

Moto Central Fit and Showroom Guidance

A new full-face helmet should feel evenly snug without painful pressure points and should not rotate independently of your head. Visit Moto Central for fit guidance if you are between sizes, and bring the glasses you normally ride in so the combined fit can be checked.
